New Custom Patio Screen Door
New Custom Patio Screen Door: We do not stock all the different sizes and options of patio screen doors - we have you choose your options and order them directly from the manufacturer's website and delivered to you. The company is called RiteScreen and their doors are of high quality and come with many options; such as standard fiberglass mesh or heavy-duty pet screen, stainless steel rollers (highly recommended due to our coastal climate) or vinyl and steel rollers, multiple paint color options – not just white or bronze. The cost depends on your chosen options and size; shipping is free. Once received, you can either build it, screen it, and install it yourself or we can install it for you for an additional fee. Note: these are NOT adjustable height doors that you would find preassembled at local hardware stores – those are flimsy by design and have steel rollers that are not easily replaced and that will not hold up in our coastal climate. RiteScreen doors, especially with the stainless-steel roller option, will last 4X as long. Lastly, if you choose to have us build it and install it, we can give you an additional option of going with another screen mesh called UltraVue. It is a polyester, not fiberglass material that offers the best airflow and is almost invisible when standing back…great if having the best view is important. Not recommended if you have animals or small children that may be tough on the screen. This upgrade would be an additional cost.
If interested, start by checking out RiteScreen.com patio door section viewing their DYI Custom Screen Door - not their adjustable height door and they are not of a quality we would recommend. Also, download the app called “Bilt” and then search for RiteScreen DYI custom door measuring tutorial. Or, you can click here to be taken to our webpage describing how to measure for a patio screen door. If you just want us to come out and measure, with us taking the liability of measuring correctly and our travel expense, we charge a small fee; it does not go towards the total door cost and is due upon arrival.
